The annual Gala — “The JWPOSD Monopoly Night—Leaving Nothing to Chance” — is the Jean Weingarten Parent Association's annual fundraising campaign. And 100% of the proceeds from the evening go to the school and will be matched dollar for dollar by a private Foundation up to $350,000.
Tuition covers only a portion of the cost of educating a student at JWPOSD. The remaining amount is supplemented through grants, contributions and fundraising each year.
With this in mind, we are asking for your support. There are three ways to help. Firstly, to contribute a donation for the auction that will allow us to raise money for our deaf and hard of hearing children. Secondly, to provide a cash donation to assist us in underwriting the event. And lastly, to purchase tickets for the Gala and join us for an exciting evening filled with friendship and camaraderie while supporting our kids.
As a nonprofit organization, Jean Weingarten relies on the generosity of its families, alumni and community to continue its mission of preparing and educating deaf and hard of hearing kids.
